Consultation on the Brighton & Hove
Draft Joint Commissioning Strategy for
Adults with Autistic Spectrum Conditions 2012-15.
We are currently consulting on the Joint Commissioning Strategy for Adults with Autistic Spectrum Conditions. This process will help raise awareness of the plans we have to support Adults with autism and their families and carers in the future.
If you would like further information on the work that has already taken place prior to this final consultation, then please follow this link. http://consult.brighton-hove.gov.uk/file/2030481
This strategy aims to support adults with autism to live more fulfilling and rewarding lives through the development and implementation of a range of operational actions and initiatives that will:
A. Increase awareness and understanding of autism through training of frontline staff and reasonable adjustments
B. Develop a more joined up care pathway (diagnosis, assessment and support)
C. Improve the transition process from childhood to adulthood
D. Ensure that local planning and leadership underpins and enables the development and commissioning of quality services and support.
We now need to consult on whether the actions in the
strategy will result in better outcomes for people in Brighton & Hove.
The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes and the closing date is 29th February 2012.
If you have any questions about this consultation; would rather complete it in a paper format or require an accessible format please contact sarah.crowe@brighton-hove.gov.uk Tel: 01273292115.
